LAS VOCES DEL CHAÑARAL

The Voices of Chañaral is the name of a group of IVE seminarians and priests at the "Finca" (the "Farm"), which is the endearing term used for the IVE's first seminary, Maria Madre del Verbo Encarnado (Mary Mother of the Incarnate Word) in San Rafael, Argentina. The music they perform is Argentine folk music (zambas, chacareras, etc)—much of it original—some secular, much about the Catholic faith, life in the seminary, the missionary vocation, and many other things.
